Reiki is offered for relaxation, stress support, emotional balance, and general well-being only. Sessions are delivered in-person (Irvine, CA), via Zoom, WhatsApp Video, or asynchronously (distance healing). Reiki is not a medical service.

Not a substitute for medical, clinical, or psychological treatment
The practitioner does not examine, assess, diagnose, or prescribe for any medical condition. Sonal Sahai does not hold a medical licence in India or the United States. Sessions do not replace any form of medical or clinical care.
I understand Reiki sessions are not medical care and cannot replace treatment prescribed by a qualified medical professional.

My story
The path to Swarna Reiki
I came to Reiki through my own healing journey — searching for something that could address what doctors could not fully reach. When I experienced the stillness and energetic shift Reiki offered, I knew I wanted to share this with others.
I hold the complete Usui Reiki Master/Teacher certification (Levels 1–4), Karuna Reiki® Levels 1 and 2 through ICRT, and am accredited by IPHM. I currently serve clients remotely across India and offer both in-person and remote sessions in Irvine, California.
My practice is grounded, personal, and always complementary to — never a replacement for — your existing medical care. Every session includes a written report.

A Japanese energy balancing practice. The practitioner acts as a channel — supporting the body's natural capacity for rest, calm, and balance. Gentle, non-invasive. For wellness and relaxation — not medical treatment.
Karuna Reiki® — Advanced
Karuna means "compassion" in Sanskrit. Works with a deeper set of symbols — particularly supportive for emotional balance and releasing longstanding patterns. Sonal holds Levels 1 & 2 through ICRT — rare in India and California.

Is Reiki a religion or belief system?+
No. Reiki requires no particular belief. It is open to people of all backgrounds. All that is needed is an open intention to receive.
Can I have a session while on medication?+
Yes. Reiki is complementary and does not interfere with any medication or treatment. Always continue prescribed medical care as directed by your doctor.
Is distance healing as effective as in-person?+
Many clients report equally profound experiences from distance sessions. Reiki is not limited by physical distance. Distance sessions also allow you to rest in your own comfortable space.
What might I feel during a session?+
Experiences vary. Some feel warmth, tingling, or deep calm. Others feel nothing during the session but notice a shift in the following hours or days. All responses are valid.
Why do I need to complete an intake form?+
The intake form helps Sonal understand your intention and background before the session. It also includes your informed consent — confirming you understand Reiki is a wellness practice, not medical care.

How to prepare
For live Zoom sessions
Drink water beforehand. Find a quiet, comfortable space. Stable internet connection. Lie down or sit comfortably. Set a simple intention.
For in-person (Irvine)
Arrive 5 minutes early. Wear comfortable clothing. Studio address shared after booking. Avoid heavy meals 1 hour before.
For distance sessions
Submit intention and payment. You need not do anything at session time — rest, sleep, or go about your day. Report arrives within 48 hours.
After your session
Drink water. Rest if possible. You may feel relaxed, emotional, or energised — all normal. Read your written report within 24 hours of receipt.

3. What sessions are NOT
Sessions are NOT medical care, clinical therapy, psychiatric treatment, physiotherapy, or any regulated health service. The practitioner does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical opinions.
4. Client intake form — required
All new clients must complete the before their first session. Sessions will not be confirmed without a completed form.
5. Client eligibility
You must be at least 18. Clients aged 15–17 may participate with written guardian consent.
By booking you confirm you are not in acute medical or psychiatric crisis.
If receiving medical treatment, you participate as a complement to that care — not a replacement.
6. Limitation of liability
No guarantee is made regarding session outcome. Individual experiences vary.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific session.

Karuna Reiki® is a registered trademark of ICRT. Used to describe credentials only — not as a business name.
